The series contains pay vouchers for some members of the Confederate Eighth Florida Infantry Regiment from 1862 to 1863. Most of the documents record payments issued for service during a specified period. Some items, issued at the time of a soldier's discharge, give information such as birthplace, occupation, age, height, and complexion.
